A native Chicagoan, Laura studied in Oregon and California and then headed off to Europe. After living in France and Germany, she settled in Bulgaria with her rock musician husband and worked on music projects together. She has worked in international schools as a teacher, Transition Counselor and Parent Consultant for more than 25 years.
